I met up with this lovely family when mum was around 38 weeks. We had tried to get together earlier but it just didn't happen with one thing and another but finally everything lined up and we headed down to Castle Rock beach late on a Friday afternoon. Little did we know this was the eve of them being a family of four for the last time and within a few hours they were to meet the new love of their lives. Bec looked amazing! She really did. She seemed so at peace with her pregnancy and so calm. So beautiful and yes so radiant! For an hour or so we walked and talked, the boys ran and climbed and laughed and pulled funny faces and we just had a lovely time. Its these relaxed sessions where I feel so privileged to be a part of someone else's family life. To see their connections and watch them share their love and emotions not only for each other but for the much awaited for baby. Already I could see the joy the new love of their lives was going to bring them all. Lifestyle photography is a wonderful way to actually freeze the real family moments. Sure it's nice to have a picture perfect family photo for Granny or the 'Christmas card' but gosh, the real treasured memories show the emotions, the looks, the connections and the love. This little one has chosen her family well. She already is loved and adored by her two big brothers and her mama and papa.
